Already in his early years, he was music enthusiastic and bought records wherever he could find them to build up his record collection. With this background it was Just a little step to start Djing, which he did, indeed, at the age of 13. First in youth- centre, then one year later he started his career as a professional DJ. Infected with the virus called Music he was since then trapped for life and worked as a DJ in different clubs. In 1986 the next big step had to be taken. Mario De Bellis went to the US to be part of a new movement, called house! Especially in Chicago, he bought all the new tools and records to create this new style, that he later introduced in Europe.
During his year in Chicago, he became friend with people such as Farley Jackmaster Funk and Darryl Pandy and he was invited to the first House Music Award on the 19th of April 1997. In 1988 he went over to Ibiza, where house started to mix with a new thing called Acid from Great Britain. From there, he took this new style to Germany and organized the famous Acid House Party's which became a big success with its smilies and the famous pipes. Fromm 88 till 91 all the news from the scene and new video clips where brought to public here. The camera team with De Bellis as a presenter visited f.ex '89 the SIB in Rimini, in '90 the Midem in Cannes and in '91 the DMC World Championship in London , where he did not just interview the VIP's , but find as well new friends among them.
In 1990 he got introduced to label work with Black Posse Music where he started to book and promote Technoparties such as the live act INTERACTIVE With his two sidekicks he founded "No Respect Record" and soon released their first vinyl "Who is Elvis" Europe is now completely surrendered by Techno and the wave began to swash over the US, that meant to INTERACTIVE: three tiltes in the US Billboard charts at the same time. At their first apperance in the New York Limelite Club with Lenny Dee and Jeff Mills they got a frenetially response and INTERACTIVE' s Mexico Tour was successful as well. Summer '92 Mario De Bellis is for the first time active on the Love Parad, he is now well established and clubs throughout Germany( like the famous Space Club and the Warehouse in Cologne) want him as a DJ.
In May '94 he released his first Mix-CD toghether with Jens Mahlstedt on Fairway Records/ France. His first release in Great Britain on Rainforest was made together with labelboss himself, Tony Crooks and the name of the project was Firestarter. Mario De Bellis was one of the highlights at UNIVERSE in October '94 with DJ line up such as Prodigy, Underworld, Cosmic Baby and Earth Nation were 27000 visitors attended. Mario opened his own Record store called REMIX in Dortmund Germany in 1995. New years eve '95 he DJ's for the second time at the HR3 Sylvester Club with DJ Dag live from Hanau with over 8000 visitors. Mario De Bellis get's his own show on air with Evosonic Radio on a Wednesday weekly. He became a fixed and famous institution for all the listeners of Techno and House.
At the LOVEPARADE Evosonic buildsat the Ernst- Reuter- pLatz in Berlin a stage with 20KW PA and is live on air Mario played an energetic set for over 2 hours with over 100000 ravers. Back in Ibiza he plays with Sven Vaeth in the Space Club. Over the year 1997 and 1998 Mario De Bellis spun at almost all major Rave's and Events, he had a second tour thru Slovania and Croatia and was resident at German's most popular nightclubs. In May' 98 the release Party of the Techno Club Vol.3 Comilation takes place at Dorian Gray in Frankfurt under the guidance of Talla 2XL." Taucher joins Mario De Bellis" is the tiltle of the double Mix CD and the Maxi is called " Reach out", produced by Mario De Bellis , Taucher and Thorsten Stenzel.
